 From a generous heart of Aguilar Family, Vocationist Fathers received a house for their mission in Ermita (it is a pilgrimage center for Our Lady of Fatima; Feast day is celebrated on October 13.) of Izhcayluma Vilcabamba Loja, Ecuador. Our Congregation is grateful to the Lord and to the local Bishop, Most Rev. Hugolino, Dioces of Loja. During the opening ceremony, Ordinary of the Diocese and Superior General of Vocationist Fathers, Fr. Louis Caputo, S.D.V. along with Fr. Lorenzo Gomez, S.D.V. were present in Ecuador. The mission of  the Vocationist Fathers and Brothers in Ecuador, started with the arrival  on 29th September 2005, of one Argentinian priest, Fr. Marcelo Paredes, who opened the mission on the first day of October 2005. After wards, arrived in February 2006,the 2nd priest, Fr. Eduardo Batista Mota from Brazil.In January 2008, arrived two other Nigerian priests, Frs Christopher Chilaka and James Mary Chiemenem, to help in the growth of the mission.

Today, the mission of Ecuador is growing gradually, with two communities: one formation house and a parish,in two different dioceses of Ecuador. Frs Eduardo Batista Mota(Brazilian) and James Mary Chiemenem(Nigerian) are working in the formation house, while Frs Marcelo Paredes(Argentinian) and Christopher Chilaka are helping in the parish.
